Age Connects NWC is a small, independent charity that is committed to making a difference in the lives of older people.
Our mission is to continually strive to improve the quality of life of Older People, along with encouraging, empowering, and promoting wellbeing whilst maintaining independence.
We work with partner organisations to promote the rights of older people, create public awareness around issues affecting older people, and connect with people of all ages in our communities.
We provide services via telephone, face-to-face, in community groups and through home visits. Working alongside our staff are our dedicated volunteers, who bring a huge variety of skills and experience to the charity.
Age Connects NWC also promotes the 5 Ageing Well in Wales elements:

- Loneliness and Isolation
- Falls Prevention
- Dementia Supportive Communities
- Opportunities for Learning and Employment
Our organisation is managed by a Board of Trustees and is a member of Age Connects Wales. Age Connects Wales is a registered charity made up of the six independent Age Connects organisations operating throughout Wales.
